I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors. Some of my favorite memories are of entire days at the ocean, body surfing until the last moments of sunlight, collecting shells and rocks, and hiking through the mountains.

I also spent a lot of time in my own world. I could wander down to the creek or run through a field and turn it into an entire story in my head. I made up characters, imagined different lives, and found ways to make ordinary days feel like adventures.

People called me a “free spirit” from as early as I can remember. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I was just curious. I wanted to explore, make things, meet people, and follow whatever caught my interest.

I don’t think that part of me ever really went away. It just found different outlets.

Photography, writing, art, travel, movement, and learning have all become ways for me to explore the world and document what I find interesting along the way. I’m especially drawn to people, places, and experiences that offer a different perspective or make me look at something in a new way.

That curiosity is at the center of most of what I create. Whether I’m photographing a brand, documenting a place, writing about an experience, or pursuing something simply because I want to understand it better, I want my work to feel thoughtful, human, and alive.

This site is a growing collection of what has come from that.

I’m Reese.
